The 3 day trip to Hell

I've been to Hell, and I liked it! So did other 100.000 people.
Orphaned Land was in the middle of their repertoire when we arrived at the location of the biggest rock festival in Romanian rock history. A chill crossed my spine while we were entering the premises. We were entering the concert venue, the scene for some of today's  biggest rock bands. Paradise Lost, Manowar, Anthrax, Megadeth, Slayer, Metallica, Rammstein.
First day: Orphaned Land (opener), Paradise Lost, Volbeat, Manowar, Accept (headliner)
Orphaned Land's gig in Istanbul was canceled so they came to Romania. Decent sound. I liked Ocean Land, Norra El Norra. I did not understand why the vocal (Kobi Farhi) said that he is not Jesus. Well, he sure looked like Jesus. But let's not forget...We were still in Hell.
Paradise Lost followed Orphaned Land and our beer trips. I can't remember anything from their concert, except their song "As I Die". I was not drunk. Yet (sorry ass joke).
Volbeat. Oh yeah! This one was a surprise. I thought they were gay, but they weren't...kinda. They had hard riffs and the vocal had a really good performance. I never heard of them until Sonisphere. It is possible to include them in my playlist. I liked The Human Instrument, Sad Man's Tongue (dedicated to Johnny Cash and Ronnie James Dio) and fuckin' Boa. Thumbs up for Volbeat.
The kings of Heavy Metal, Manowar ruled the night. That's for sure. Joey deMaio started speaking to the public in fucking Romanian. WOOOOOOW. "Suntem din nou pe pamant romanesc si suntem foarte mandri sa ne aflam aici..." And he kept on speaking Romanian for several minutes. They played the classics: Manowar, Kings of Metal, Warriors of the World United, Thunder in the Sky, Black Wind, Fire and Steel. But they also played a tribute song to RONNIE JAMES DIO Heaven and Hell. I fucking cried like a wet pussy from the beginning to the end of the song. Thank you Manowar! The Manowar concert ended with diMaio ripping his bass strings, making some big fucking fat noise and throwing them to the public. Heil Manowar!
Accept. We left!
Day two: Vita de Vie (opener), Anthrax, Megadeth, Slayer, Metallica (headliner)
Vita de Vie. How come you have a mean son of a bitch guitarist and somebody like Adrian Despot on vocals? It doesn't fucking match dude! During their show, Despot said:"Thank you, it is very hard for us!". What the fuck is so hard for you. Dude, you play opener for SLAYER. Have you ever listened to Slayer? That is some hard shit. So shut the fuck up!
Anthrax. I'm not a big Anthrax fan. They played the beginning of DIO song Holy Diver. Respect!
Megadeth. Sucked ass. I was bored to death during their show except the solo guitar parts. Mustaine, you must deal with your issues man! I felt no power coming from their music.
Slayer. A terrific show of raw power and aggression. I was efing blown to pieces by the awesome four. Araya, King, Lombardo and Hanneman. I just watched the fucking show and I headbanged. You can't be aggressive while Slayer delivers massive evilness in your ugly face. There were two drunk ass creeps in front of me trying to make a mosh-pit. The best thing they managed to do is to rape each others legs. They were humping like fucking dogs. Fucking retarded.
I headbanged really hard on every Slayer song. World Painted Blood, Jihad, War Ensemble, Hate Worldwide, Seasons in the Abyss, Angel of Death, Beauty Through Order, Disciple (THEY PLAYED FUCKING DISCIPLE MAN THEY FUCKING RULED), Mandatory Suicide, Chemical Warfare, South of Heaven, Reining Blood.
Kerry King was supreme.
Metallica. My legs hurt so much that I wanted to go home. But I didn't. Metallica is Metallica man. You can say what you want, they will still kick your ass with their metal. It didn't bother me that James said Budapest instead of Bucharest, it didn't bother me when Kirk missed notes on his solos. I fucking enjoyed every single song. The crowd was awesome so they said they will return. Of course they will return. The Romanian metal crowd is efing awesome. Except the losers throwing with beer cups. The Metallica show was great. They played songs from the new album which I enjoyed very much, also some oldies like One which fucking ruled supreme, Sanitarium (Welcome Home) also a cover of Queen's song Stone Cold Crazy.
After day 2 I was dead tired.
Day three: Luna Amara, Anathema, Stone Sour, Alice in Chains, Rammstein
I wanted to resist till the Rammstein show so I did not attend Luna Amara and Anathema.
Stone Sour. I thought they sucked ass and they pretty much did. Not my favorite type of metal. I don't like girlie stuff.
Alice in Chains. I went to rest and have some beers.
Rammstein. The place was packed. No place to throw a needle. I thing it was the biggest crowd  of these three days. The curtain fall and the demented sickos from Rammstein begun to violate our open mouths with flames and explosives. The vocal is fucking impressive. He is standing still with his arms crossed in the back and with his eyes straight forward. No grimaces on his face. He was like a stone golem. Except the moving and singing part. I liked the keyboardist. He had a walking band installed between his two keyboards and he was walking while he was playing them. He sparkled in the dark as he was thrown in a metal thing by the vocal. I never imagined that the vocal will be suspended in air and then throw fire and explosive on the poor little keyboardist. The vocal was a beast, he was pushing around and spiting the keyboardist like he was the scum of the earth. Fabulous. The best fucking show ever. The keyboardist jumped in a inflatable boat and the crowd pushed him around over the head. I touched his fucking boat. AWESOME.
I can't tell how awesome it was. If they come again I will go for sure.
I loved everything about the band. The haircuts, the outfits, the props, how they moved, how they interpreted, the pyrotechnics, every fucking thing. The vocal even said Multumesc.
I wait for Rammstein. Wooah!
In the end I can say that this festival ROCKED ASS. Although I can hardly walk properly. Sonisphere 2012 here I come!

EU - Recommendation 1333

EU - Recommendation 1333
on the Aromanian culture and language

1.The Assembly is concerned about the critical situation of the Aromanian culture and language, which have existed for over two thousand years in the Balkan peninsula.

2.Whereas there were over 500 000 Aromanian speakers at the beginning of the twentieth century, there are now only about half that number, dispersed through Albania, Bulgaria, Greece, "the former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia" and Serbia, which are their home countries, as well as Romania, Germany, the United States of America and Australia. Most of them are elderly. Aromanian, as a minority language, is under threat.

3.The scale of the problem has become evident since the extension of cultural co-operation to the Balkans, the home of Aromanian.

4.The Aromanian language and culture are facing a similar fate to that of many European cultures which are becoming or have become extinct. However, the acceptance of a pluralist system of cultural values is a prerequisite for stability in Europe, and particularly in the Balkans.

5.The Aromanians make no political demands, but merely want assistance in safeguarding their language and culture, which seem doomed to extinction unless the European institutions, and the Council of Europe in particular, come to their aid.

6.The Assembly recalls the texts which it has adopted on related matters, notably Recommendation 928 (1981) on the educational and cultural problems of minority languages and dialects in Europe, Recommendation 1283 (1996) on history and the learning of history in Europe, and Recommendation 1291 (1996) on Yiddish culture.

7.The latter text recommended setting up, under the auspices of the Council of Europe, a "laboratory for dispersed ethnic minorities" with a mandate, inter alia, to promote the survival of minority cultures or their memory, carry out surveys of persons still speaking minority languages, record, collect and preserve their monuments and evidence of their language and folklore, publish basic documents and promote legislation to protect minority cultures against discrimination or annihilation.

8.The Assembly recommends that the Committee of Ministers:

i.encourage Balkan states which comprise Aromanian communities to sign, ratify and implement the European Charter of Regional or Minority Languages and invite them to support the Aromanians, particularly in the following fields:

a.education in their mother tongue;

b.religious services in Aromanian in their churches;

c.newspapers, magazines and radio and television programmes in Aromanian;

d.support for their cultural associations;

ii.invite the other member states to support the Aromanian language, for instance by creating university professorships in the subject and disseminating the most interesting products of Aromanian culture throughout Europe by means of translations, anthologies, courses, exhibitions and theatrical productions;

iii.introduce fellowships for artists, writers, researchers and students from Aromanian minority groups throughout the Balkans, so that they can engage in appropriate creative work in the fields of Aromanian language and culture;

iv.request the Council for Cultural Co-operation, working together with recognised Aromanian academic centres, to ensure co-ordination of Aromanian cultural activities throughout Europe;

v.invite the education ministers of member states to include the history of Aromanian in European history books;

vi.seek to establish co-operation and partnership with organisations, foundations and other interested bodies in the private sector with a view to implementing these recommendations;

vii.take account of Aromanian culture in its follow-up to Recommendation 1291 (1996), particularly where the "laboratory for dispersed ethnic minorities" is concerned.

Rock history and appreciation (Ep. 2)

It is the year 1968. King Crimson takes shape. Guitarist Robert Fripp and drummer Micheal Giles make the line-up of the band alongside bass player Peter Giles and Greg Lake on vocals and the multi-instrumentalist Ian McDonald. Fripp, Giles and Giles (the two Giles are brothers) were old acquaintances, unsuccessfully trying to score their luck in 1967. They recorded one album "The Cheerful Insanity of Giles, Giles and Fripp" under the Giles, Giles and Fripp formation.
In 1969, with Lake and McDonald in place, they record the album "In the Court of the Crimson King" which was rapidly labeled as masterpiece. It reached #3 in british charts. The album stripped the blues outfit of the rock music, adding in return  a lot of jazz and symphonic elements. We cannot say that King Crimson is commercial because it scored success, but to say that King Crimson was highly appreciated by critique and public because of the new sound it produced, thus setting the symphonic prog scene, would be correct.
After the success of their first album, the band line-up suffered changes, but until today the band's components changed around Robert Fripp, the permanent member of the band.
I didn't start to listen to King Crimson very early, but rather late and I started with the end. I didn't understood them this way. Today, I still have a hard time understanding their music, the later albums I mean. In the Court of the Crimson King is the first album. A rather easy album you would say at the first hearing. Not! This is a prog gem!
  Here is the track listing of the original album:

1. 21st Century Schizoid Man (including Mirrors);

2. I Talk to the Wind

3. Epitaph (including "March for No Reason" and "Tomorrow and Tomorrow")

4. Moonchild (including "The Dream" and "The Illusion")

5. The Court of the Crimson King (including "The Return of the Fire Witch" and "The Dance of the Puppets")

Spartacus: Blood and Sand

Spartacus: Blood and Sand

- Barca (unul dintre gladiatori), este prezentat ca ultimul supravietuitor din Cartagina. Acest lucru ar fi fost imposibil deoarece Cartagina este distrusa in 146 iHr, cam cu 70 de ani inainte de momentul in care se desfasoara actiunea filmului, iar Barca are in film cam 30 de ani;
- Tipul de armura in care sunt imbracati soldatii romani nu exista in momentul in care se desfasoara actiunea filmului, ci apare cam la 70 de ani dupa (anul 9 iHr.);
- Batiatus (detinatorul scolii de gladiatori) doreste sa obtina o functie publica. Acest lucru este improbabil deoarece statutul nu ii permitea;
- In una din scene Batiatus cumpara 6 sclavi cu 100 de dinari (iar acest lucru este prezentat ca o investitie foarte mare). Preturile sclavilor insa se situau undeva intre 1000 si 5000 de dinari (pe bucata de sclav);
- La inceputul rascoalei, sclavii iau cu asalt bucataria pentru a isi procura arme, si nu dupa o lupta intre gladiatori (cu arme reale);
Social, sexul practicat in excess nu era acceptabil.

On rights

Its summer! like dooh .... now thank you mr. obvious.

Summer brings its flavor regarding the way girls dress, or not [really] dress. Really short skirts, some small piece of cloth on the upper part of the body.
As a decent, civilised, model citisen you have to ignore this provocative manner of getting dressed otherwise its sexual harassement, rape.
But isnt it also a invite [from the girls] for us [boys] to brake the rules of society? Who should draw the line? The State with his overprotective attitude - i am here to protect you for your own sake - or us, and get what we desire regardless of outcome?

I look at them and it feels like they yell at me ... look you fucking idiot i am here, almost naked come and fucking have me ... and then i turn around and follow my own path.
